Please continue to attend live lessons every day this week as this will help with the children’s transition back to school. It is also important to keep up with their learning on Google Classroom to ensure fewer gaps in their learning once they return to school. Please note that  Google Classroom will continue to be used for blended learning once the children return to school.

We will provide further information by the end of the week about what to expect for when your child returns to school.

Kind Regards,

The Reception Team

SPRING TERM 2 TOPIC: Spring 2-Traditional Tales

Suggested Week 2 Timetable for Reception Remote Learning

Animal Word lists: Please remember to post a video of your child reading their animal word lists to the KEY WORD LISTS folder on Google Classroom, once they are ready to read the words. When the children return to school, they will receive a certificate for each word list they can read successfully. So keep practising with them and when they are ready, add your video.

WORLD BOOK DAY: Thursday, 4th March

This year our theme is The Masked Reader. You can join in the fun by posting a video of  you and your child wearing a mask and reading one of your favourite stories. Post your video into the Masked Reader Folder on Google Classroom. It will be great fun trying to work out who is behind the mask. You could make and decorate your own mask. We look forward to seeing your creativity in action. The children will receive their £1 book tokens when they return to school. [/dropshadowbox]
