In Maths this week, we are learning to use solve addition and subtraction problems, as well as refining our methods of partitioning number as a written method.
In English, we will edit our substitution story and use different word classes to improve our writing. We will revise the -y sound in our spellings.
In Science, we will investigate how friction works and record our findings.
In History, we will recreate a models of Stone Age tools.
The children have their passwords for Mathletics and Spellodrome. There are four learners who will be assigned theirs next week. Please encourage your child to use this online resource to consolidate their learning.
We would appreciate if you could help your child design a lab coat that they can wear during science. An old white shirt decorated with scientific symbols or equipment will suffice. The coat will also double up as Art coat during Art lessons.
The children have received their slips confirming their time slots for Parents Evening. Please do let myself or Mrs Glenn know if you are not sure of your meeting time.
Finally, could you please sign the permission slips granting your child permission to go out on the trips planned this term. It is a requirement that we have parental permission to take your child on trips and outings.
