Welcome to the new academic year. We would like to welcome you and your child to Year 3.

We break up on Thursday and the half term holiday begins on Friday.[/dropshadowbox]
This week our learning will be as follows;
- In mathematics we will be learning about position and direction.
- .In English we will be writing a motivational speech based on Noah Barleywater Runs Away.
- In Science we will be learning that magnets can attract and repel.
- In history we will take part in a range of fun activities on our Stone Age dress up day.
- In RE we will learn about the Hindu god, Ganesha.

- In English we will be writing letters based on Noah Barleywater runs away and exploring the anti-bullying themes in the book.
- In mathematics we will be adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers and hundreds.
- In science we will exploring which materials magnets attract through.
- In geography we will look at the geography of Europe focusing on our map reading skills.
- In RE we will look at Hindu holy books.
