This week:
- In Maths we will continue our work on place value – estimating numbers to 1000 on a number line.
- In English, we will come up with new characters for our story before writing our own version of ‘The Magic Dogs of the Volcanoes.’
- In Science, we will look at the work of a palaeontologist – Mary Anning to further our understanding of fossils.
- In R.E we will look at how Christians care for our world through the work of charities.
- In Topic time we will be learning about earthquakes.

This week:
- In Maths we will begin work on place value. We will revise work on the value of each digit in a three digit number, learn to compare and order numbers and identify the position of each digit on a number line.
- In English we will create storyboards based on Magic Dogs of the Volcanoes by Manlio Argueta.
- In Science we will learn about the contribution of Mary Anning to our understanding of fossils.
- In Topic time we will be looking into where tectonic plates meets, and comparing the locations of volcanoes and earthquakes.
