Welcome to Blackfriars Bridge Class

This week our learning will be as follows;

• In Maths we will continue working on measuring length, before moving on to find the perimeter of shapes.
• In English we will be exploring a story from another culture, Magic Dogs of the Volcanoes by Manlio Argueto.
• In Science we will look at how fossils  form.
• In Topic time we will research volcanic regions focusing on tourism.
• In R.E we will earn about why Jewish people believe it is important to care for the environment and learn about the Jewish festival of Tu B’Shevat (the birthday for the trees).

• In Maths we will learn to estimate, measure and compare lengths.
• In English we will create information leaflets on volcanoes.
• In science we will investigate the properties of rocks.
• In RE we will be looking at why Muslims consider it important to care for others and the environment.
