Welcome to Blackfriars Bridge Class

Week beginning 19^th March 2018.

Our topic in Maths this week is fractions. We will find fraction equivalents, compare and order fractions.

In English, we will find out what is in newspapers and start planning a newspaper article.

In RE, we will learn about why Christians celebrate Easter.

In Topic, we will investigate what materials would make an earthquake proof building.

In P.E, the children will improve on techniques learned in dance.

Please encourage your child to read every day and to use the online learning resources.

Week beginning 12^th March 2018.

The children had an Arts workshop this week, their enthusiasm and effort they put in their work was superb. Well done, Blackfriars class.

In Maths, we will learn to divide a 2 digit number by one digit number, divide using a number line and explore multiplication and division using scaling.

In English, we will finish writing our letters and edit them.

In RE, we will start and complete the story of Jesus and the tax collector.

In Science, we will learn about Marie Curie.
