LITERACY: Book Focus: The Enormous Turnip

The children enjoyed reading and enacting this funny story about a rather large root vegetable, so this week we will follow this up with learning more about vegetables. Since spring has sprung and the growing season has started, the children will be planting some root vegetables  and who knows……we may even have some enormous turnips of our own in a month or so.
