It has been a lovely first week of full time learning for the children. They are now quite familiar with the routines and structure of the day and have really enjoyed being at school full time every day.

Please check your child’s bookbag for next week’s lunch menu cards and a letter detailing our school uniform requirements. It is important that all children have the correct school uniform and accessories. Please check and ensure that your child is attired accordingly. The uniform expectations are quite clear to ensure that all children represent the ethos and values of our school. We kindly ask parents, carers to ensure that there are no deviations from the expected uniform guidance.

Please note that Monday 28th September is an INSET day for staff. Children will return to school on Tuesday, 29th September. Please bring in lunch menu cards on Tuesday.

Kind Regards,

Reception Team

If you do not have other children at our school, we have asked you to arrive at 9.30. Teaching in Reception starts after the 9.30 start. Please be assured that your child will not miss out on learning by arriving at 9.30. This measure has been put in place to reduce congestion at the school entrance by having different start times for the older children and their siblings.

The staff at the main entrance will allow you to enter as soon as the congestion has cleared. Please note that the large gates will be locked by 9.40. If you arrive late, you must ring the bell at the main office, and they will receive your child. Please do not walk up to the Reception playground if you arrive at or after 9.40 as the small gates at the top of the stairs will also be locked. It is important that your child arrives on time to school so that teaching and learning can begin for the day.
