LITERACY:
Book Focus: Three Billy Goats Gruff
The children will read and recall the main events of this entertaining traditional tale. We will explore descriptive language to write character descriptions .
MATHS: This week we will explore big picture stories about combining groups of objects. The children will learn to represent their mathematical understanding using a range of manipulatives and models eg part, part whole model, tens frame

My own Gingerbread story
We have been using our imagination to create a new adventure for the Gingerbread man. What adventure do you think he could he have next if he escaped from the fox? Where would he go? What would he do? Who would he meet? Draw a picture and write a few sentences about Gingerbread man’s next adventure.
