The children are really enjoying our Caring for Animals topic this term. The children have enjoyed all the creatures that we’ve had in our classrooms, especially the beautiful pet tarantula that was brought in by Harvey from Chelsea. Many thanks to Harvey’s parents for bringing in their pet. The tadpoles are still with us and the children are learning about its different stages of development. Next week we hope to have another exciting creature visiting so please ask your children to share with you what they are learning about.
As this is the last week of the Summer 1 term, please remember to take your child’s PE kit home at the end of the week.
Kind Regards
Reception Team

The children really enjoyed watching the ducklings hatch and grow over the last two weeks. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to them on Friday as they had to return to the farm in Norfolk. This week we continue with our Caring for Animals topic focusing on Minibeasts for the next two weeks. This week we explore the world of spiders. If anyone has any pet spiders at home, please let us know.
Please don’t forget to fill out a WOW card to share important moments you have with your child at home. We would love to add more cards to our WOW wall.
Also, please remember to check the weather each day and dress your child appropriately for each day.
Kind Regards
