Week beginning 18^th April 2017.

Welcome to the first half of the Summer Term. I do hope you and the children had an exciting Easter break and that the children are excited about coming back to School.

In Maths this week, we are learning about Place Value. The children will consolidate prior learning about adding and subtracting four digit number, rounding to 10 and 100, as well as comparing and ordering number.

In English, the children will learn about persuasive writing as well as how to present their opinion to an audience.

In Topic, we will learn about Saving the Rainforest . It is a topic that the children will enjoy.

In Religion, we will learn about Judaism.

In PE we will have ball games and athletics.

It will be a busy term and please continue to support your children by revising their multiplication facts up to 12 x 12.

I will communicate some dates for the Parent Teacher meetings for those parents who missed out last term. My apologies for this.
