[dropshadowbox align=”center” effect=”lifted-both” width=”auto” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”10″ border_color=”#b422f6″ ]What did we learn about today?[/dropshadowbox]

Today, we had a lovely time getting to know Whitgift School. In Computing, we learnt how to take pictures – using a camera – and manipulate them using Corel Photoshop. We had fun using different effects and creating our own animated GIFs.

Next, we were introduced to the language of Italian. Our teacher, Mr Jackson, taught us the names of different colours and pets. We realised there were a lot of similarities with the etymology of words we have previously learnt in our French and Spanish lessons.

Finally, we were treated to a treasure hunt in the Water Garden. This proved to be a fantastic opportunity to see a range of different birds – including flamingos – and even the odd wallaby popped out to say hello!

Week beginning 11th November

This week, QE2 Class will be visiting Whitgift School, as part of their Primary Project.
