What are we learning this week?
English –
This half term, our English lessons will be centred around our core text Rooftoppers, by Katherine Rundell. Our learning objectives for this week are:
- To identify and evaluate the key features of a newspaper report.
- To plan a newspaper report.
- To write a newspaper report.
- To edit and up-level my work.
This half term, we shall be continuing our class read Holes, by Louis Sachar.

- How did the Buddha become enlightened?
- What are the features of a Buddhist shrine?
