Maths – We shall be looking at multiplying and dividing fractions.

English – This half term, we shall be basing our lessons from the Andrew Matthews’ adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. This week, we shall be starting our new unit of letter writing. We shall be identifying the key features of a formal letter, evaluating the key features of a selection of letters, editing and up-levelling existing letters and editing and up-levelling a letter by Lysander (from A Midsummer Night’s Dream) using Shakespearean language. We shall also be looking at the past progressive tense in SPAG sessions.

Science – We are looking at nutritional values in food.

History – We shall be finishing our double page biography spreads about Anne Frank.

Tuesdays – Gymnastics

Thursdays (Tower) /Fridays (QE2) – Pilates

Geography – To understand the use of Ordnance Survey symbols.

Maths – We shall be looking at ratio and proportion this week.

English – This half term, we shall be basing our lessons from the Andrew Matthews’ adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. Using the story, as well as the modern rap retelling, we shall be: boxing up the key events and then writing a poem.

Science – We are continuing to write our explanation text about how the heart works.

History – We shall be finishing our double page biography spreads about Anne Frank.
