Welcome all Year 6 parents and pupils.

What we will be learning:

English-We will be continuing our learning about The Highwayman poem by Alfred Moyes.

PSHE-We will be learning about Legal and Illegal drugs as well as ways to keep ourselves safe.

History-We will be finishing our learning on World war 2.  We will be looking at how countries moved forward after World war 2 and how they created an agreement for peace.

What we will be learning:

Maths-We will be continuing to develop our understanding of how to solve problems

English-We will be writing our persuasive letters about recycling as well as  starting to study the poem- The Highwayman

Science-We will be continuing to learn about the human body

DT-We will be evaluating our pop-up books and then reading them to the children in Reception

PSHE-We have a visitor in school who will be talking to the children about safe travel when the move to secondary school

PE-We will be developing our understanding of tactics in Kwick cricket as well as ways to score points in tennis

History-We will be learning about the Holocaust and preparing our assembly
