We made it!!!!

Well done to all the children who worked so hard last week during their SATS.  It was a very tiring time for all the children (and adults) and I hope they have enjoyed a few restful days.

Now it is back to work.

Maths-We will be learning how to solve puzzles

Reading-We are continuing to read ‘A boy in Striped Pyjamas’

Writing-We will be editing our discussion text and then writing our own

Science-We will be learning about evolution

Geography-We will be learning about Scandinavia and developing our map reading skills

R.E-We will be continuing to develop our knowledge of Christianity

DT-We will be designing and creating games to run at the Summer fair

Computing-We will continuing to design and make an APP

Maths-We will be continuing our revision, ready for SATS-This week we will be focusing on ratio and multi-step problems

Writing-We will be writing a discussion

Reading-We will be continuing to read ‘A boy in striped Pyjamas’

Science-We will be continuing our work on the human body

Geography-We will be starting our Geography topic on Scandinavia

R.E-We will be continuing our work on Christianity.

Art-We will be studying silk paintings and making our own

P.E-There is no longer any swimming.  Instead we will be having 2 PE lessons in school-Kwick cricket and Tennis

Computing-We will continue to develop our understanding of On-line safety and APP design

PSHE-We will be looking at setting ourselves goals and looking for ways to achieve them.

Friday-We will be holding a class party to celebrate the end of SATS and celebrating the Royal Wedding at the same time.
