Well done to Year 6 for winning the WOW trophy for the Autumn term.  Can we manage it again this term?

Congratulations to Year 6 for their amazing Holocaust assembly.  It was exceptional.

Also a big congratulations to Tom for his poem ‘Once’.  Please find it below.  It is a poem about Jewish children who were sent on the Kinder-transport away from their parents during WW2, never to see them again.

ONCE                                                                  by Tom

I had some good times

Once

I had some good friends

Once

Now they’re all gone

Tell me why

No

Tell me how

No

Somebody help me

Here are the bad times

Now

Here are the sad times

Now

Why

Tell me why

No

Tell me how

No

Somebody help me

I had some good times

Once

I had some good friends

Once

Now they’re all gone
