Maths-We will be learning about algebra and how to solve calculations

English-Writing–We will starting to research William Shakespeare and write a biography about his life.

Reading-We will be continuing to read Holes by Louis Sachar.  The next book we will be reading is ‘The boy in the Striped Pyjamas’.  If anyone would like to buy their own copy so they can follow along with the class book, you are more than welcome to.

Science-We will be continuing our topic on Electricity.  We will identify from circuit diagrams those circuits that will or won’t work and explain why

History-We will be learning about the Holocaust and the impact it has had.  For more information have a look at

R.E-We will be learning more about Buddhism this term.  This week we will focus on the story of ‘The Monkey King’

Art-We will be studying silk paintings and making our own

P.E-Swimming continues on a Tuesday.  In our other lesson we will be starting Pilates.

Computing-We will continue to develop our understanding of On-line safety and APP design

PSHE-This term we will be looking at ways we can keep ourselves safe and healthy.  There will be a focus on on-line safety and what you can do to keep the risks to yourself and others low.
