Expressing yourself through art can help you channel your emotions and energy into something positive which can be shared with others over and over again.

This virtual session features Hannah Brooks (Aardman), Annabelle Davis (The Dumping Ground), Oli Hyatt (Blue Zoo Studios) and Ayo Norman-Williams, with an activity idea from Place2Be’s Art Room team.

Feb 1, 2021

[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”lifted-both” width=”auto” height=”” background_color=”#ffffff” border_width=”1″ border_color=”#dddddd” ]Dear Children, Parents and Carers

We are so excited to present to you our first Express Yourself Yoga Challenge!

Yoga is a powerful tool to connect with your mind and body. It can help you to relax, to concentrate and to re-energise after a busy day learning and working.

How do you take part in this event?

1. Learn one yoga pose a day by watching the step by step video prepared by Miss Ancel. You will find a new video, every day for 10 days , posted on the Well Being Spot.
2. Take a picture or video yourself doing all the 10 yoga poses.
3. Post the pictures/videos on your Google Classroom.
4. At the end of the 10 days, Miss Ancel and I will choose one overall winner for Early Years, one for KS1 and one for KS2.
5. The prize is one amazing book for each winner to share with their class.

We hope you will enjoy taking part in this challenge.

We can’t wait to see all your pictures and videos!

Mrs Pollington and Miss Ancel
