We are so excited to present to you our first Express Yourself Yoga Challenge!
Yoga is a powerful tool to connect with your mind and body. It can help you to relax, to concentrate and to re-energise after a busy day learning and working.
How do you take part in this event?
1. Learn one yoga pose a day by watching the step by step video prepared by Miss Ancel. You will find a new video, every day for 10 days , posted on the Well Being Spot.
2. Take a picture or video yourself doing all the 10 yoga poses.
3. Post the pictures/videos on your Google Classroom.
4. At the end of the 10 days, Miss Ancel and I will choose one overall winner for Early Years, one for KS1 and one for KS2.
5. The prize is one amazing book for each winner to share with their class.
We hope you will enjoy taking part in this challenge.
We can’t wait to see all your pictures and videos!

Dear Parents/Carers, This year we will be celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week from 1st Feb to 7th Feb 2021.
The theme for the week is: EXPRESS YOURSELF
In school and online, we will be exploring what it means to express yourself and why it is an effective tool to maintain and improve good mental health.
-
We will be using age appropriate resources from Place2Be in class and online to raise awareness in children and adults.
-
On Tuesday 2nd February at 09:15 Miss Ancel will launch her 10 days Yoga challenge for all to take part in. You will soon be receiving a text with the zoom code so you can join us at the launch.
-
On Thursday 4th February, we would like all adults and children, both at school and at home, to DRESS TO EXPRESS! What will YOU wear? In the meantime why not have a look at Place2Be so you can explore this topic with your families?
