First Week of December 2019
This week will see the beginning of our “serious” Christmas Concert rehearsals.
We are looking forward to CMA’s concert in Minster Church on Thursday and our school’s Christmas Fair on Saturday.
This week’s homework: Au2-Wk5-29112019
Maths: We focus on multiplying and dividing by 10/100/1000 as well as multiples of 10/100/1000
English: This week, we will plan, write and then edit our independent film review of “Hidden Figures”. WHAT AN INSPIRING MOVIE!
- Looking at Grammar, we will start unpicking and then working on mastering subordination and subordinating clauses, but also further expand our vocabulary used for describing character and personality.
Art: Working hard and focused, we will paint and assemble our Cardboard Relief.
Science: After our fabulous rockets have explored the skies, we will now enter our new amazing topic “Forces”. (PICTURES WILL FOLLOW LATER)
Here are two videos as well (download and play in VLC-Player): 002 021
Spanish: Continue and expand exchanging personal information.
PSHE: Connor, our visitor from Nuffield Health, will work with us on how to keep ourselves physically and mentally fit and healthy.
