Some children will also bring a packed lunch. They do not need to bring anything else. While some of the rules to prevent Covid have been relaxed, we still need too take precautions. Unfortunately children are still not able to bring in cakes on their birthdays and should not bring anything else to give out to others.[/dropshadowbox]

Week Beginning 1st November

October 30, 2021

We hope that everyone has had a good half term. This week our learning is as follows;

  • In mathematics we work on column addition of numbers up to four digits. We will also learn to solve missing number problems involving column addition.
  • In English we will continue our work based on the Boy at the Back of the Class. We will use role play and respond to poetry.
  • In science we will begin a new unit of work on Teeth and Eating.
  • Our blocked foundation subject this week is geography. We will develop  our maps skills and look at co-ordinates, position and direction.

Both year 4 classes will do PE on Wednesday.  Millenium Class will have their final swimming lesson on Tuesday and Southwark Class will do PE on Thursday.

In relationship and health education this week we will be following the NSPCCs PANTS curriculum. This is designed to help children to stay safe from sexual abuse in a non-explicit and age appropriate way. Further information can be found at;
