Hello!
Thank you as always for all your help and support.
This week’s learning in Year 4:
Maths: We are continuing our revision of key skills by exploring the commutative laws of multiplication. We will then be spending a few days revising periods of time (days, weeks months, hours and minutes) in preparation for moving onto analogue and digital 24 hour time after the half term break.
English: We are continuing to read Ice Palace by Robert Swindells and have finally reached Starjik’s lair! We will be sketching our visualisations of Starjik, completing our story maps and then creating our own retelling of the end of the story both orally and written.
DT: We will be exploring the sustainability of reusable bags and designing our own bags for life
PE: We will be continuing to develop our tennis skills.
ICT: We are continuing to use Isle of Tune to compose a piece of music for a Pharaoh’s funeral.
Homework is a continuing project exploring our History topic, the Ancient Egyptians. Pick one task each week to complete and post your results on Google Classroom.
Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns!
