It’s History week!
What are we learning this week?
English –
This term, our English lessons will be based on the core text Rose Blanche, by Roberto Innocenti. Our learning objectives this week are:
- L.O. To identify and use parenthesis accurately.
- L.O. To plan a non-chronological report.
- L.O. To write a non-chronological report.
- L.O. To edit and up-level my writing.
This half term, our class read will be Holes, by Louis Sachar.
Maths –
Lesson 1 |
LO: I can divide any three or four digit number by a two digit divisor using short or long division. |

LO: I can express remainders as proper fraction remainders or as a decimal-fraction equation. |

History –
Our topic for the next couple of weeks shall be Local History. Our learning objectives this week are:
- L.O. To investigate and interpret the past (Surrey Street).
- L.O. To build an overview of world history (transport).
Science –
This week, we shall be planning an investigation to test what might affect the brightness of a bulb.
PE –
QE2 – Tuesdays and Wednesdays
