Maths:
We shall be looking at the formal method of division and also completing an end of unit assessment. It is obvious that some children need to practise their times tables. Please encourage your child to take some time at the end of the day to learn them – and to help them feel more confident! It is an end of Year 4 expectation that they can confidently recall their tables up to 12 x 12.
English:
We are currently reading Room 13, by Robert Swindells. If your child would like to read along with our book in class, you can purchase a copy here at The Book People.
French:
We shall be looking at the topic of food in our french session. We shall be learning all about breakfast!
PE:
Due to hall time allocations last half term, we shall be continuing our gymnastics sessions on Tuesdays and starting Basketball on Thursdays.
PSHE:
We shall be continuing our Apple’s Friends programme as well as discussing New Year’s Resolutions.
Art:
Next week we shall be looking at Greek patterns and the art of using paste resist.
