Maths – We shall be looking at rounding and comparing and ordering numbers up to ten million.
English – Over this half term, our lessons shall be based on our class reading book Goodnight Mister Tom. This week, we shall be looking at setting description. This will lead us to writing a diary entry (in the role of William Beech) comparing his experiences in London with his new home, in the town of Little Weirworld, after being evacuated.

PSHE – We shall be learning about The Lily Project and how we can help support this charity.
Spanish – We shall be starting our unit “All about us”.
PE – PE will be held on Fridays, where we will be starting our unit on Basketball. Year 6 will be going swimming on Tuesdays.
History – This week, we shall be looking at ‘evacuation during WW2’. We shall be writing a letter as an evacuee as well as learning why children were evacuated during the Second World War.
