This year we will be celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week from 1st Feb to 7th Feb 2021.
The theme for the week is: EXPRESS YOURSELF In school and online, we will be exploring what it means to express yourself and why it is an effective tool to maintain and improve good mental health.
Miss Ancel is holding a 10-day Yoga challenge for all to take part. She will be showing a new Yoga pose each day and would like to see photos/ videos of you trying each yoga pose. There will be a folder set up under classwork where you can share any photos/videos of you taking part and we will pass them on to Miss Ancel and Mrs Pollington. They will then chose someone who they think have tried really hard to take part who will get a prize. Please see videos of the Yoga poses each day on the Howard School website

On Thursday we would like all children (and parents) to DRESS TO EXPRESS. The idea is simple – use colour to express yourself on this day by wearing a colourful outfit! It could be a colour that represents you, or any pattern or design that you think represents you. We would also love to see photos of your outfits on Thursday – you might want to get your whole family involved!
