Week beginning 20th November

WHITGIFT PRIMARY PROJECT.

This week’s learning will be taking place at Whitgift school.  The children will have some amazing opportunities to develop their computing skills, experiencing programmes including Microbit, Animation shop, Photoshop, Scratch and GoRobo.  The children will also have a PE lesson, a foreign language lesson and a practical Science lesson which the children in previous years have thoroughly enjoyed.

All children will need a packed lunch everyday as well as their PE kit in school and their best manners.  We are visitors at their school for the week and poor listening and behaviour are not tolerated by the teacher in charge of the project.  The children will come to school as normal and we will walk over to Whitgift at about 9.30am.  The children will be back in school by 2.30pm so will be able to be collected as usual.

Previous Year 6 classes have thoroughly enjoyed the week and have got a lot of it so I am hoping that this class will too.

A very big thank you to all of you who donated presents for the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.  They are being wrapped this week and sent of in the next couple of weeks.  I know they will very much be appreciated.

Don’t forget to donate any bottle you have for the tombola stall at the Christmas Fayre on the 9th December.  It would be lovely to see as many Year 6 children as possible.

Congratulations to all those who received a merit card and a Privilege Card this week.  Keep up the hard work.
