Week Beginning 21st January

This week our learning will be as follows;

In mathematics we will learn to estimate, measure and compare lengths.
In English we will create information leaflets on volcanoes.
In science we will investigate the properties of rocks.
In topic time we will find out why volcanoes often occur around the “Ring of Fire”.
In RE we will earn about why Jewish people believe it is important to care for the environment and learn about the Jewish festival of Tu B’Shevat ( the birthday for the trees).

The children will take their number stars test every two weeks and are divided into two groups. Group 1 will take their test this week and group 2 the following week.
