Week Beginning 25th April

Welcome Back to a new half term.

This week our learning will be as follows;

In mathematics we will conclude our work on fractions. We will convert between mixed number and improper fractions.
In English we will begin a new unit of work based on the Lost Happy Ending by Carol Ann Duffy and Jane Ray. We will read the book and respond to illustrations. We will also do a short piece of creative writing based on one of the illustrations in the book.
In science we will learn about invertebrates.
Our blocked foundation subject will be music. We will follow a unit of work based on our Ancient Egypt topic focussing on pitch.

Millennium Class will swim on Tuesday and do PE on Wednesday. Southwark Class will do PE on Wednesday and Thursday.

This term parents have been asked to collect their children from the playground (behind the dining hall).
