Week beginning 25th September 2017

In the last week, the following children received merits during Assembly; Holly, Malika and Nisa. We are also pleased to report that we attained 100% attendance last week.

In Maths this week, we are learning to add and subtract 3 digit numbers mentally and using written methods.

In English, we are using our story maps to help us write the beginning, middle and end of our stories. We will investigate rules and strategies for writing plural nouns that end in –y.

In Topic we will be investigating timelines of the Stone Age, Bronze Age and the Iron Age.

The children have passwords for Mathletics please encourage them to log on and to use it as well as Spellodrome which are good online learning resources.

There a few children who are not submitting any homework. Please note that the children get homework weekly and should be reading every day and writing in their book reviews.

The children have PE on Monday and Friday and they are improving their stamina when they do the one mile run every day.
