Week Beginning 26th November

In Waterloo Bridge Class this week our learning will be as follows;

In mathematics we will continue our work on fractions. We will learn to count in tenths and to find fractions of quantities.
In English we will plan and write a story based on Aladdin and the Enchanted Lamp by Phillip Pullman.
In science we will learn about the spectrum of light.
In history children will research an aspect of Iron Age life of their own choice.
In RE we will begin our work on Christianity leading up to Christmas. We will learn about the symbolism behind the Christingle.

Learning times tables is an important part of our home learning in Waterloo Bridge Class. Children are given their times table to learn each Monday and there is a test every Friday.
