It’s RE Week!
What are we learning this week?
English –
This half term, our English lessons will be centred around our core text Rooftoppers, by Katherine Rundell. Our learning objectives for this week are:
- To identify and evaluate the key features of a Rundell chapter.
- To plan a narrative chapter in the style of Katherine Rundell.
- To write a narrative chapter in the style of Katherine Rundell.
- To edit and up-level my work.
This half term, we shall be continuing our class read Holes, by Louis Sachar.
Maths –
Lesson 1 |
LO: I can draw 2-D shapes using given dimensions and angles. |
Lesson 2 |
LO: To identify, name and describe properties of 3-D shapes (pyramids, prisms, congruent 3D shapes) |
Lesson 3 |
LO: I can build and recognise the net of 3D shapes and tell if the drawing of a net cannot be made into a 3D shape using reasoning. |
Lesson 4 |
LO: I can plot point accurately within the first quadrant and draw 2-D shapes from given coordinates. |
Lesson 5 |
LO: I can describe positions on the full coordinate grid (all 4 quadrants). |
RE –
This week, we shall be focusing on Lifestyle and Celebration within our RE topic, Buddhism.
Science –
This week’s learning objective is to investigate why shadows have the same shape as the object.
PE –
QE2 – Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Tower – Tuesdays and Fridays
