Week beginning 5th March

Well done to all the children who came into school last week despite the snow. The children did some great learning.

In mathematics this week we will work on multiplication. We will problem solve using our 3, 4 and 8 times tables and learn to multiple two digit by one digit numbers.
In English we will write letters in role as one of the characters from Escape from Pompeii.
In science we will learn about the scientist, William Smith.
In topic time we will focus on art skills.
In RE we will explore the story of Jesus and the tax collector.

I was sorry I was not able to meet parents on Thursday and I will try to rearrange those appointments as soon as possible.
