Autumn is finally here! The children have enjoyed talking about the changes they see all around them. Please continue to encourage them to notice and talk about the beautiful autumnal changes on your journey into school.

This week the children were placed in groups, which helps us with the day to day organisation of group tasks. Each group is named after a colour: Red, Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow. Your child will be able to tell you which colour group they will be in.

Thank you for ensuring your child has the correct school uniform and PE clothing. Please remember to label all items belonging to your child.

You will have received a letter about Tapestry, our online learning journal system. Please complete and return the agreement form attached to the letter as soon as possible so we can get you connected to Tapestry.

Literacy Focus: This week the children will begin Phonics lessons. they will learn a new letter sounds each day and will bring home a practice sheet. Please do not send this sheet back. Please keep it at home so your child can practice.

The children enjoyed this story and this week they will continue to explore the different things about themselves which are unique to them.

PE focus: The children will learn how to perform different balances to develop their core strength.

Maths Focus: This week the children will explore different types of patterns
