It is hard to believe that we have only two weeks to go until the end of term. There is already a festive buzz in the air. The children have enjoyed decorating their class Christmas trees and will be very busy with many seasonal activities over the remaining weeks of this term.
At this time of year, children enjoy sending cards to their friends. However due to the challenges within which we have to work this December, we kindly ask that the last day for children bringing cards into school is Friday 11th December. The cards will be posted into the class post box and will be ‘quarantined’ until Monday(14th) when they will be handed out. Please note that you are under no obligation to send cards. We understand if you choose not to have your child bring in cards. Please ask your child’s class teacher for a class list of names if you would like to send cards.
Please take note of these IMPORTANT DATES over the next 2 weeks:
- Friday 11th December: Christmas jumper day. Children wear their school uniform but instead of their school jumper, they may wear a Christmas jumper for a £1 donation
- Friday 11th December: Last day to bring in Christmas cards
- Tuesday 15th December: Children will watch an online pantomime
- Tuesday 15th December: Christmas lunch will be served
- Friday 18th December: Last day of term. Mufti day (The children may wear their own clothes to school. No school uniform and no donation required)
Kind Regards,
The Reception Team
