Dear Parents, Carers

It has been a great first week back with lots of wonderful work posted on Class Dojo. This week we look forward to seeing and hearing you and your child in our online group calls scheduled for your child’s group reading day.

We have been very pleased and proud of the children’s efforts to develop their writing through the Super Sentence activity. Some of you might now be ready for the next stage of writing where the children learn to use their vast imagination to create and write their own mini super stories. So, please see below for some useful videos for parents to support your child to begin to write their own stories. If your child is not quite ready to write stories yet, you could focus on skills for turning words into sentences and keep going with the super sentence activity.

Our Maths focus this week will be about skills for counting and composition of numbers by adding or subtracting.

Please use the suggested links in combination with class dojo activities. Our theme for this week is ‘Under the Sea’.
