Week Beginning 9th September 2019

We have had a great beginning to the term in year 3. The children have settled well into their learning.

This week our learning will be as follows;

In mathematics we will work on place value. We will learn to count in 100s, to know the value of each digit in a 3 digit number and to compare and order numbers up to 1000.
In English we will explore a new text, Stone Age Boy by Satoshi Kitamura. We will read and retell the story, ask questions and write in role.
In science we will investigate pushes and pulls.
In history we will find out about Early Humans.
In RE we will learn about signs and symbols associated with the world faiths.

Thank you to all parents who sent in money for our film and popcorn afternoon in July. We have bought new playground equipment which the children have enjoyed playing with.
